Don't flippin call people sweetheart, hun, honey, sweetie, dear, etc.! This is extremely rude and condescending – especially when you are either 1) younger than the said person, 2) a stranger to the said person, or 3) a co-worker to the said person.
Unacceptable. Please, spread the word.
* A variety of nicknames are acceptable between close friends and family.
