Beautiful Day by U2

Your Theme Song is Beautiful Day by U2

"Sky falls, you feel like

It's a beautiful day

Don't let it get away"

You see the beauty in life, especially in ordinary everyday moments.

And if you're feeling down, even that seems a little beautiful too.

This was actually the song I chose for when we were introduced at our wedding:)

I don't know about "And if you're feeling down, even that seems a little beautiful too"... but I love the song.

Thanks for the quiz tlc!

My next purchase

Word on the street is that Bill Cosby will soon be putting out a rap album targeted to the black community. Yes. I did say rap album.

Known for his controversial comments regarding, in his opinion, the irresponsibility of black parents in not educating their children, this project is apparently going to be a positive and informational album targeted at that community.

Sounds enticing doesn't it?!

I just hope that he incorporates his awesome patchwork sweaters and a ton of Jello pudding into his videos!

Awkward moment

There I was. Just sitting in my office, working my little heart away. When, all of a sudden, Meatloaf's "I Would Do Anything for Love" came on the radio. Before I realized it I had - quite loudly - cheered. I'm not sure if anyone heard. But, really. There's no way they couldn't have.

I didn't know Meatloaf had such a huge effect on me.

Holiday must-have

B2K's 2002 masterpiece Santa Hooked Me Up.

Specifically, "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer."
Click here to forever change your life.
You'll thank me later.

* Seriously, why does EVERYone feel like they have a right to record holiday music?

New video - Rihanna

Is everyone else diggin' Rihanna as much as I am?

I LOVE "Shut Up and Drive."

Also, I very much enjoy her island accent.

Wow.

If you didn't like Kanye West before, you'll surely detest him after watching this video.

What a self-righteous, arrogant baby.

I liked "Golddigger" just as much as the next gal, but JT brought "Sexy Back."

Can't nobody touch that.

Can't win them all (or any) Kanye. That's life.

A little bit of humility and graciousness go a long way...

Blogs are awesome

According to Perez Hilton, Eric Hutchinson is the next big thing.
"After we posted this entry yesterday on the brilliant Eric Hutchinson, his new album - Sounds Like This - not only jumped out of nowhere onto the iTunes chart but it raced up all the way to #9. Number nine! All this without being on a freakin’ label!!!!!!!"
Amazing how much influence bloggers have nowadays!
(Cool sound by the way!)

I'm addicted

I've been listening to a 90s radio station online (via Yahoo) all week.

Just to prove to you how totally awesome the station is, I thought I'd list some songs I recall hearing today:

All Apologies (Nirvana)
Far Behind (Candlebox)
Come Undone (Duran Duran)
Ironic (Alanis Morrisette)
Bitch (Meredith Brooks)
Weak (SWV)
I Remember You (Skid Row)
Mmm Mmm Mmm Mmm (Crash Test Dummies)
Sweet Dreams (La Bouche)
This Is How We Do It (Montell Jordan)
Unbelievable (EMF)
The Freshman (Verve Pipe)

And those are just the ones I can remember. Yup. I definitely grew up in the 90s.

(Seriously, how HUGE was that Alanis album?!)
