I went home from work today grinning from ear to ear. I saw a girl walking into my building decked out in some of my early Fall favorites - a baggy sweatshirt and jeans.Couldn't wait to get home to change.
Other things I LOVE about this time of year?
- lighting candles again
- leaving the door/windows open and cuddling up in a blanket
- beginning of football season
- my whole family goes back to work (teachers.)
- buying new boots/jackets
I don't know who we were kidding about the whole Florida thing... I would have never lasted in that intense heat all year round. I love Fall too much.

I couldn't have made a better list of why the fall is the best myself.
Today is Ry's first day with students. He's a nervous wreck - surprised anyone? doubtful!
And yesterday when I got home from work there were a handful of dropped leaves scattered across my front lawn. It's as exciting to me as the first snow. I love the smell of the fall, the leaves (not necessarily raking them), and SWEATSHIRTS!!!!!
YAY!! Fall is my FAVORITE season! I would love it to be fall and spring ALL year round! How come it is all about the sweatshirts come fall? I just washed mine that were stored away last week in preparation for the cooler weather, it is the BEST!! No season (in my opinion) comes close to the beauty and wonderfulness of fall!!!
