"After his daughter, Beyonce, walked away from the Golden Globes without an award, Matthew Knowles expressed his disgust with a somewhat familiar sounding rant.
Knowles told reporters back stage at the Beverly Hills Hilton right after the Golden Globes show ended that his daughter was outcasted and overlooked by a bureaucratic good old boy system that is still alive in 2007 as it was in 1967. 'Today is MLK's birthday and it saddens me to say that things have not changed for blacks. Working class blacks and blacks in Hollywood are still being discriminated against. We still have a long way to go,' he said."
P.S. Does he know that both Eddie Murphy and Jennifer Hudson won for "Dreamgirls" alone that day?! Whatever. I even like Beyonce.

Yes, I'm sure her loss has absolutely NOTHING to do with the fact that Helen Mirren (the winner in her category of "Best Actress") is a MUCH better actress and did an amazing job in "The Queen".
You're right...Hollywood dads are crazy.
AGREE!!!!!
Helen Mirren is a wonderful actress. Beyonce will NEVER be as good as her...in my opinion she is just average in everything (I don't care for Beyonce - sorry). Here is what frustrates me more....Discrimination will NEVER stop if those people who claim to be discriminated against don't stop using that as a crutch when it is NOT infact true. You can't keep pulling out the race card when it isn't appropriate to the situation...BS! I think discrimination is never going to stop b/c their are some people out there who don't want it to stop! Yes, Eddie & Jennifer both won...and Jennifer was better...get over it B.
UGH. I am SO over stage parents.
