I would just like to say how happy I am that America Ferrara won a Best Actress award at the Golden Globes the other night. Her role on "Ugly Betty" is just wonderful. Sincere. Funny. Heartwarming.
It's so great to see such a role model on TV.
Side note: I recently saw a 50-year-old who was the spitting image of America Ferrara. We were playing poker. I told her she looked exactly like the girl from "Ugly Betty." I meant it in a good way (which I think she understood), but I felt awful.

So I guess yay for her winning, I have never seen the show but I have heard alot of great things about it.
What I don't like is that a show (or when TV shows) that have not been on a whole year or even a whole season get nominated. I mean - didn't this show JUST start recently??? I mean, good for her for winning, I think she is adorable and a good actress - but overall shouldn't the show be on a certain amount of time before it can be nominated?? If it is that good of a show it will be around next year. Just my one cent, haha!
Ok, now tell me: is the show worth buying off of iTunes? I'll totally do it...but I need to know.

I really enjoy it... I used to watch it for free, though on abc.com. I'm not sure if they have that still, but I'd check there before buying on iTunes:)
