Good luck with that buddy

“I’m mad as hell and I’m not going to take it anymore,” Washington said in a statement released through his publicist, Howard Bragman, without elaboration.

Msnbc.com - Isaiah Washington has lost his job on the hit ABC medical drama “Grey’s Anatomy,” five months after creating a furor with his use of an anti-gay slur.

Washington’s contract option was not renewed for next season, series producer ABC Television Studios said Thursday.

Well that was an original quote....wasn't that a quote from the movie Network or something like that???

I don't really care for him that much but I think this could hurt the show...especially with Addison leaving too. They are going to have to do some good writing on that show...it was getting kinda lame at the end and now with two main characters gone?!?! well best of luck Grey's.

If this show goes down the toilet, I'll be devastated.

My thoughts on this subject are mixed. I like his tough guy/hard ass character on the show. I think it works. But I just have a feeling that that's how he is in real life and that doesn't appeal to me. There needs to be some professionalism and it doesn't seem like he's demonstrated that.

I wonder if he'll pop up on that new Addison show... ha.

i think i won't miss him at all.

Dr. Burke bored me to tears most of the time. And all he did was make Christina go from a funny, if not crass, character...to a whiny, needy wuss.

that's my 2 cents.
