A and I were watching TV the other night and saw a commercial for the new and improved Monopoly game.It now has an electronic banking system that calculates everything for the players.
It may make the game go by slightly faster, but, in my opinion, this is yet another instance of dumbing down America's youth.
Such a shame.

yeah, it really takes all the fun out of playing the game.
i don't want to play monopoly w/ a debit card! i want cold, hard cash. it's easier to embezzle that way! (yes, i often cheat when playing monopoly....which is why i'm never allowed to be the banker!) haha
Totally TLC, I LOVE Monopoly and I love being the banker. A debit card? What? So kids have no concept of money?

You know, I thought the EXACT same thing when I saw this! Have you ever seen that movie "Idiocracy?" (Tiny: Flower Girl was talking about this movie last time we were in T-town together). It is a comedy, but it is SERIOUSLY what this world will be like in 500 years.
