My mom (accidentally) indirectly called me tacky for not wearing panty hose with my dress shoes last night. She said it's a Hollywood phase that will soon boil over.Me, I'm not so sure. Nylons are SUCH a rip off! One gets a run the second they put them on! And, they're uncomfortable as hell!
My thoughts? We all ban together and start a revolution banning nylons from existence!

I concur - nylons are the worst. I think the first time I truly felt love for my job was when I made a comment to one of the (female) partners on how I hate nylons. She looked at me in surprise and said, "Well, then don't wear them!" At my old law firm we HAD to wear nylons. And high-cut tops, high-waisted pants and low-hemmed skirts. It was pretty awful.
I'm soooo in! And happy to report that it's been several years since I've worn them!
I don't think I've worn nylons since my 8th grade confirmation. I will NEVER wear them. EVER.

Why do women over the age of 45 think that it's ok that they're legs are 26 shades DARKER than all of their other limbs?
